If there is one thing that has defined Arcusin over its nearly fifty years of existence, it is its ability to adapt to a changing world and its unwavering commitment to the agricultural sector.
Our essence cannot be understood without the determination to support farmers worldwide, nor without our dedication to technology and innovation, and the leadership of those who inspire.
This spirit was on full display at the 9th #LleidaDigital Meeting, an event that brought together leading entrepreneurs and executives to discuss the challenges and opportunities of today’s landscape. One of the standout moments of the event was the speech by our CEO, Blanca Cusiné, whose energy and vision captivated the audience, making her one of the most applauded speakers.
Blanca shared the stage with Joan Talarn, President of the Diputació de Lleida, Jaume Alsina, CEO of Bon Àrea, and renowned Spanish businessman and billionaire José Elías, owner of companies such as Audax Renovables and La Sirena. The latter, impressed by Blanca’s clarity and strength, was among those who praised her the most.
During her talk, Cusiné did not simply present data or business strategies; her approach went far beyond that. She spoke about challenges and uncertainty, but also about opportunities. She expressed her concern over the impact of geopolitical tensions and the tariffs imposed by the Trump administration in the United States, yet rather than dwelling on pessimism, she offered an optimistic and inspiring vision based on constant movement: action and solutions.
One of the most compelling topics was Arcusin’s expansion in India, where our machinery is set to play a crucial role in the fight against pollution. In a country where thousands of people die each year due to poor air quality, our technology’s ability to quickly collect excess straw and prevent its burning will be a key solution to improving agricultural sustainability.
However, what truly resonated with the audience was her vision and human approach to leadership. In a business world driven by immediacy and competition, Blanca reminded everyone that people are the driving force behind any project. She moved the audience as she spoke about the unbreakable friendship between her father, Manuel Cusiné, co-founder and President of Arcusin, and Josep Ramon Pons, Executive Advisor and General Manager of the company for the past twenty years. A relationship built on trust and loyalty, always placed above any business challenge.
Blanca Cusiné proved to be more than just a company executive. Her inspiring vision, combined with her energy and commitment to innovation and people, is what is shaping the future of Arcusin.
