Blanca Cusiné has been named CEO of Arcusin, replacing Josep Ramon Pons who has led the company for the past 20 years. Alongside her, Ferran Cusiné takes over leadership of the Engineering and R&D department.
Blanca, 34, with a degree in Industrial Engineering, has been instrumental in Arcusin’s international expansion, which now spans over 60 countries and includes a subsidiary in the United States. Ferran, 31, holds a strong background in Business Administration and Management as well as Mechanical Engineering, and will focus on integrating advanced technologies to enhance the efficiency and productivity of Arcusin’s agricultural machinery.
Manuel Cusiné, co-founder and president of Arcusin, formalized the generational transition, highlighting the capability and vision of the new generation to lead the company to new heights. He emphasizes that international expansion and diversification will be crucial in this new phase, with a focus on emerging markets and new products.
Blanca emphasizes the importance of maintaining human values and team quality, stating: “We must continue to be pioneers in the sector of specialized agricultural machinery manufacturers with patented products that improve machine efficiency and productivity. All this without losing the human values that both our father and grandfather instilled from the foundation of Arcusin: having a team of good people but with great talent.” Ferran, for his part, highlights that the main challenge in Engineering is integrating advanced technologies to address the challenges of the agricultural sector by improving machine efficiency and responding to the growing shortage of skilled labor.
Josep Ramon Pons will remain with the company and also as a member of the Advisory Board, contributing his vast experience to Arcusin’s strategic plan. The company, founded in 1976 by Armando and Manuel Cusiné, is dedicated to the design, manufacture, and sale of specialized agricultural machinery. Its mission is to facilitate the work of farmers worldwide by providing efficient and cost-effective solutions. With a solid network of distributors and a commitment to innovation, Arcusin continues to lead in the specialized agricultural machinery sector for bale handling.
